18 Strings is a self described Appalachicana- folk rock-bluegrass outfit from Morgantown WV. Two music professors, Greg Thurman on bass, Chris Jones on mandolin and harmony vocals, and one entertaining singer-songwriter Andy Tuck, have been around the music scene in different bands over the years (Whitewater, The Greens), and formed their new supergroup.
